ABOUT ME

Professor. G. Lakshmipathi, MD, FRCP, FICP, lives in Coimbatore, one of India's lesser-known cities. Undeterred by such location and enforced retirement, and despite being dubbed a 'Senior citizen' by an immature brute majority, he pursues four professions - Practices as a consultant physician and cardiologist on patients, who to his utter joy equate experience with wisdom; teaches medicine to post-graduate students, who to his utter delight equate knowledge with aging; gives speaches to assorted audiences, who to his amazement, equate verbosity with profundity; and writes humorous books for readers, who to his utter dismay, equate borrowing a copy with buying one.
His books so far include - 'Tabletop Guide to Outpatient Management', 'Care of the Medical Outpatient' (both serious beyond words), and in the funny genre - 'Ha Ha Therapy', 'Delights of Dementia and Other Essays', 'Dictionary of Cynical Medicine', 'Quotes Therapy' and 'Laughing Through the Specialities'.
Dr. Lakshmipathi is happily married (most of the time) to Nama. Their two endearing children Indu & Kumar live in the US with their adorable families, permitting the author and his spouse to vacation there biannually to write books that would hopefully be bought!
